Book Reviews
Here are some reviews of sf books, most (but not all) of which
were previously posted on rec.arts.sf.written. A couple
other reviews can be found at the paired reading review page.
Comments on books I've read lately are at the book log; the line between a book log comment
and a review is sometimes more a matter of attitude than anything
else, as some of the book log posts are quite long—so if
you're looking for more things like these reviews, you might well
wander over there.
Reviews are listed alphabetically by author. Very brief comments
on books are noted as such.

A bibliographic note: the date given at the end of reviews is
the copyright date, not the date of the edition (which is sometimes
not given, and which at any rate seems less useful than the
copyright date). The ISBN and page count are for whatever edition I
had on hand.
