So, <strong><cite>The Machine&#8217;s Child<\/cite><\/strong> it was.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s very little I can say about this that isn&#8217;t a spoiler. Plot ahoy, yes: though not quite to the pace of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.steelypips.org\/weblog\/2008\/06\/baker_04.php\"><cite>The Graveyard Game<\/cite><\/a>, the book still picks up most of the threads left hanging before the detour into short stories.
