The Boys of the NYPD Choir, Still Singing 'Galway Bay'...
I'm joining the ranks of bloggers going on semi-hiatus for Christmas. Between holiday travel, and buying a house, and the 14.4 dialup access at my parents' house, I won't be posting until after the holidays. I might respond to comments or e-mail, but that's about it.
Merry Christmas to all, or at least best wishes for the winter solstice holiday of your choice.
And for the inveterate procrastinators out there, Teresa Nielsen Hayden has your one-stop shopping source for the gift that keeps on giving: religious kitsch. For some reason, the flying cubs in the Black Nativity Bears set crack me up, but really, there's no topping Caspar, the Friendly (Holy) Ghost. Also be sure to check out the comments (Teresa's comments are better than most blogs) for the Huggy Jesus (which really does look frighteningly like a Braveheart Beanie Baby) and other good stuff...
